Abstract.
In the article on the example of Izhevsk which is a large city social, economic and environmental problems of water consumption are analyzed, and also methods and ways of their effective solution are offered. The analysis of the existing problems in this sphere and definition of the directions of its development is carried out taking into account the use of methods of adoption of administrative decisions and determination of their economic efficiency. The authors proved that the actions directed on the increase of reliability of work of systems of water supply and water disposal in the large city, and development of such actions has to be carried out taking into account methods of the theory of adoption of administrative decisions. In the article various aspects of systems of water consumption of a large city are analyzed. Authors used methods of the theory of adoption of effective administrative decisions. The mechanisms and the directions of reliability increase of work of water supply systems and water disposal in the large city are presented. The assessment of dynamics of financial and economic indicators of development of the system of city water supply is carried out, and also actions the realization of which will allow providing a reliable supply to the population of the large city with drinking water according to requirements of modern sanitary standards are offered. The authors paid a special attention to the assessment of ecological consequences of the elimination of warehouses with toxic and poison agents. The conclusion is drawn that at the present stage of modernization of regional economy aimed at providing a steady water supply, water consumption and the water disposal in the large city it is expedient to carry out the introduction of a control system of water consumption on the basis of frequency converters, and on objects of water consumption it is necessary to use devices of smooth start-up of asynchronous electric motors.
