Abstract. 
The article analyzes the challenges and opportunities of “green” economy industries’ development in the Russian Federation, the factors of the ecological approach to the economy are shown, “green” economy indicators and “green” growth in the strategic planning documents of industries and regions of Russia are studied. Particular attention is paid to the challenges and opportunities for the development in Russia of renewable energy, energy conservation and efficiency.
