Abstract.

The article discusses the peculiarities of the realization of geoinformational approach to the creation of the system of the indicators of the transformation of socio-economic environment of small and medium-sized cities in the new system CSS-coordinate (competitiveness, sustainability and security). The proposed new system of indicators will provide the creation of information-analytical systems for regional and municipal level, capable of raising the process of the regional socio-economic monitoring to a new level of the regional management.
