Abstract.

The importance of the modernization of the housing policy of the housing market of the South of Russia under modern circumstances is based. Problems, opportunities and directions of the modernization of the housing construction, strategy of the development of the housing market of the South of Russia analyzed. The modernization strategy of the development of the housing market of the South of Russia taking into account interregional differentiation of social and economic development, advantages, limitations and tasks of the state and regional management.
