Abstract.

The article reveals the requirements to contemporary observation systems. The data of the research of the atmospheric air in the Volgograd region in the area of the automatic observation systems is given. According to the authors' opinion this should become one of the priority directions of the natural preserving activity on the territory of industrial cities and municipalities.
