Abstract.

The article reveals the advantages and limitations, assesses profits and costs. The prospects of the functioning and the development of the agricultural complex of the South Federal District within the World Trade Organization in the current and crucial aspects are given. Special attention is paid to the regions of the South Federal District where large private investment projects of the innovative character are being realized.
