Abstract.

On the basis of the peculiarities of the creation of the ethnic economy of the republics, the specificity of the natural and resource potential of the North Caucasus, the article gives the assessment of the opportunities of the economy, the problems of the land provision and land relations in southern republics. The specificity of the creation of the normative and legal base of the land relations regulation are revealed. The problems connected with the creation of the land cadastre are studied.
