Abstract.

In the article the questions of the nature and the structural elements of the sphere of food security for the population. Develops and implements, on the materials of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the methodological approaches to the assessment of the role of the studied sector in the regional economy, regularities and energy assessment food consumption analysis of the economic situation, the substantiation of the strategic guidelines of the development.
