Abstract.

The article explores the issues of technical modernization of the agriculture, the risks of domestic agricultural machine-building are revealed. On the example of the enterprise «Rostselmash» the problems are studied and the prospects of the development of this basic industry for the South of Russia under the conditions of the WTO are substantiated.
