Abstract.

With the help of econometric modeling an economic and mathematical model and a short-term forecast of the number of the population with the account of migration to the Danilovsky district of the Volgograd region is constructed. The age and sex composition of the population of Danilovsky district of the Volgograd region till 2015 are calculated. The population of the district by 2015 is forecast to be about 16385 (reduction by 956 people in comparison with 2010).
