Abstract.
The paper identifies the importance of the problem of measuring and assessing the quality of life of the population. The main parameters for the formation of the index of quality of life are studied. The analysis and the assessment of the index of quality of life in Volgograd region over the past four years, from 2008 to 2011 inclusive are performed.
