Abstract.

The article describes the institutional approaches to increase the adaptability of the economic behavior of firms in an unstable environment, shows the relationship between changes in macroeconomic indicators and the number of loss-making enterprises, suggests approaches to improve business adaptability through advanced interaction between internal agents.
